Yemen coffee beans are increasingly being recognized as a significant part of the future of coffee due to their unique flavors, cultural heritage, and resilient farming practices, also being considered to be the first country that commercialized coffee and exported it to the world. Yemen’s largest export market is Saudi Arabia: in 2020 it accounted for more about 85% of the export volume of Yemeni coffee. Also, Japan and the US market are being served (both accounting for about 3.5%in 2020). The trade with European countries is neglectable.
